INFORMATION FOR BENEFICIARIES

BENEFICIARY students have the right to the exemption from the university tuition fees and to a scholarship, consisting in the gross amount they can see accessing their personal MyEDUCatt area.

The first instalment of the scholarship is provided in the form of accommodation and/or food service.

The second instalment is represented by the money contribution, which can be paid only if the merit-based requirement is met by 10 August 2020, as specified below:

  • 25 credits (CFU) for the students enrolled in the single-cycle degree course in Medicine;
  • 27 credits (CFU) for the students enrolled in the single-cycle degree course of Pharmacy;
  • 30 credits (CFU) for the students enrolled in any other degree courses.

NB.: Not all the subjects in a student’s curriculum can be considered for the acquirement of the merit-based requirement. You can check the accepted courses in the official document for the call. If you have any doubts, please contact EDUCatt Financial Support Office in your campus. Furthermore, the payment of the scholarship depends on the signature of the overview document of the submitted application, according to the modalities that will be communicated by email to all the admissible students (please see the detailed note at page 5 of the regulation for the call).

In accordance with the university, in order to calculate the valid academic credits for the assignment of a scholarship, EDUCatt will consider the results of a compulsory professional training (internships are excluded), as long as this is recorded by 31 October 2020.

The students who will not meet the minimum merit-based requirement by 10 August 2020 will have to meet the following merit-based requirements by 30 November 2020:

  • 30 academic credits for the students enrolled in the single-cycle degree course in Medicine
  • 35 academic credits for the students enrolled in any other degree courses

in order to be able to benefit from:

  • half of the amount of the scholarship money contribution;

Those students who will not acquire the above mentioned merit-based requirement by 30 November 2020 will be revoked the scholarship. Therefore, such students will have to pay back the received money contribution, as well as the economic value corresponding to the benefited services.   • if they don’t proceed with the self-certification of the submitted application;

For the students enrolled in the first year “fuori corso”, the money equivalent of the meals and the period to benefit from the meal at a reduced rate are halved.

INFORMATION FOR ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARIES

Also the students classified as “ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARIES” have the right to the exemption from the university tuition fees, even if they will not receive the money amount corresponding to the scholarship.
