STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A FIRST CLASS – Definitive outcomes for EDUCatt scholarships for a.y. 2017/2018

The definitive outcomes for the assignment of EDUCatt scholarships to students enrolled in a first class in a.y.2017/2018.are now available. They can be viewed accessing MyEDUCatt personal area.

In order to consult your outcome, once logged in you can set the English language and access the area “Services for Academic Year 2017/2018", click on the button “Electronic File” and select "Graduatoria Definitiva Primi Anni Borse di Studio EDUCatt - A.A. 2017/2018"(definitive ranking for scholarship applications by students enrolled in a first class in a.y. 2017/2018.

Entra in MyEDUCatt

Both “Beneficiary” and "Admissible but non-beneficiary” students have the right to the exemption from the payment of the university tuition fees.

Once the overall amount of the funds allocated for the students of Università Cattolica by Regione Lombardia will be official, the students who are now defined as " Admissible but non-beneficiary" will be informed by email, in case their status changes to "Beneficiary".
In that occasion, a new ranking, in compliance with the final economic resources provided by Regione Lombardia; will be published.
Indicatively, during the last few years the final ranking was published around the months of June/July.

The outcomes could be modified after possible verifications concerning self-certifications provided by the students. Such checks are carried out by EDUCatt in agreement with the following local financial institutions: Agenzia delle Entrate, Direzione Regionale della Lombardia, Ministero delle Finanze and Guardia delle Finanze.

In case of false declaration, the foreseen penalties will be imposed pursuant the art. n. 75 and the art. n. 76 of the D.P.R. 445/2000, and the foreseen sanctions as to the legislation 68/2012 390/1991, third paragraph of art. 10 consisting in the payment of an amount which is three times as much the sum of money benefited, in the loss of the right to receive any other provision for the whole duration of the career, except for the adoption of disciplinary actions and the complaint to the judicial authority if there are grounds for supposing an offence.

INFORMATION FOR BENEFICIARIES
----------------------------------------------------------------

BENEFICIARY students have the right to receive a scholarship, consisting in the gross amount they can view accessing their personal MyEDUCatt area.

The first instalment of the scholarship is provided in the form of accommodation and/or food services.
The second instalment is represented by the money contribution, which can be paid only if the merit-based requirement is met by 10 August 2018, specifically:

- 25 academic credits for the students enrolled in the single-cycle degree course in Medicine;

- 30 academic credits for the students enrolled in any other degree courses.

N.B: Not all the subjects in a student’s curriculum can be considered for the satisfaction of the merit-based requirement. You can check on the accepted academic courses in the Italian official document about the Application Requirements and Regulation for the call. If you have any doubts, please contact EDUCatt offices of your campus.
Furthermore, the payment of the scholarship is also subject to the signing of the submitted application overview, according to the modalities that will be communicated by email to all the admissible students.

The students who will not meet the minimum merit-based requirement by 10 August 2018 will have to meet the following merit-based requirements by 30 November 2018:
- 30 academic credits for the students enrolled in the single-cycle degree course in Medicine
- 35 academic credits for the students enrolled in any other degree courses

in order to be able to benefit from:
- half of the amount of the scholarship money contribution;
- a partial exemption from the university tuition fees, as better specified in the Italian official document of the regulation for the call, article 15.

Those students who will not acquire the above mentioned merit-based requirement by 30 November 2018 will be revoked the scholarship. Therefore, such students will have to pay back the possibly received money contribution, as well as the economic value corresponding to the possibly benefited services.
The rules on the scholarship revocation and on the payment of the second instalment do not apply to students with a disability equal to or higher than 66%.

FIRST INSTALMENT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP CONSISTING IN THE ACCESS TO FOOD SERVICE

All students defined as “BENEFICIARY” (excluded those having a full board in a residential college) can benefit – through their university card –from a meal per day in the canteens EDUCatt manages or has an agreement with, from January to December 2018 during their opening days www.educatt.it/ristorazione.

The amount of money equivalent to the access to food service, corresponding to 692,00 Euros and the contribute for the services, corresponding to 50 Euros, will be deducted from the total scholarship money contribution for a.y. 2017/2018.

Students who attend classes in venues which are located far away from the main campuses (where food service is not provided), will be monetized the equivalent of the food service.

No refund is foreseen, if the student doesn’t benefit from the food service, except in case of periods spent abroad, that must be certified through proper documentation.

The possible second meal per day is to be paid according to the rules and regulation for the food service. These ones can be consulted here: regole di accesso alla ristorazione.

CONVERSION OF PART OF THE SCHOLARSHIP INTO ACCOMMODATION SERVICE (For students who live in one of the residential colleges managed by EDUCatt)

Beneficiaries of scholarships will pay the accommodation fees of the college where they stay according to the fares of the range C. These students have to take into account that the balance between the due amount of the scholarship and the accommodation fees will take place at the time of the payment of the last scholarship instalment.

INFORMATION FOR ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARIES

Once the overall amount of the funds allocated for the students of Università Cattolica by Regione Lombardia will be official, the students who are now defined as " Admissible but non-beneficiary" will be informed by email, in case their status changes to "Beneficiary".

In that occasion, a new ranking, compliant with the final economic resources of Regione Lombardia, will be published.
Indicatively, during the last few years the final ranking was published around June/July.

FIRST INSTALMENT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP CONSISTING IN THE ACCESS TO FOOD SERVICE

All students classified as ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARY enrolled in a first class can access the food service, paying the first meal of the day according to the first range fare (currently: 3,60 Euros).

In case the students benefit from a second meal per day, they will have to pay according to the rules and regulation for the food service. These ones can be consulted here: regole di accesso alla ristorazione.

INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS LIVING in one of the residential colleges managed by EDUCatt

These students will be suspended from the payment of the accommodation fee instalments, until the definitive amount of scholarships financed by Regione Lombardia is defined. Later on, in case there is no further funding, the students who received the outcome ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARY will be informed about the instalments to be paid.

INFORMATION RELATED TO THE EXEMPTION FROM UNIVERSITY TUITION FEES (both for “BENEFICIARIES” and “ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARY” students)

Both students who received the outcome BENEFICIARY and ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARY are exempted from the payment of the second and the third instalments of the university tuition fees.

However, the total exemption from the enrolment fee and the tuition fees is subject to the acquirement of a minimum level of academic credits by 10 August 2018, specifically:

- 25 academic credits for the students enrolled in the single-cycle degree course in Medicine;

- 30 academic credits for the students enrolled in any other degree courses.

ADMISSIBLE BUT NON-BENEFICIARY students will be refunded also the “Tassa Regionale per il diritto allo studio”, which is the regional fee for the right to study at the university (only if they meet the aforementioned merit-based requirements).
